Competition Details
The Calgary (Southern Alberta) Local Brain Bee Competition will be held on 10AM – 4PM Saturday April 12th, 2025 at the Health Sciences Centre (3330 Hospital Dr NW, Calgary, AB T2N 4N1)
Please see here for information related to the building and paid public parking on the day of the event.
Room details will be sent to all registrants.
Lunch will be provided, for contestants only
Tentative Contest Format:
1st round [Closed doors]: All contestants will write a written exam. A select number of the top performers (depending on registration numbers) will advance to the next round.
2nd round [Spectators welcome e.g. parents, 1st round contestants]: Top performers will be subject to an oral exam in a play-off/elimination style, whereby contestants will be eliminated when they answer questions incorrectly.
Prizes
The winning contestant will represent Calgary at the National competition
Details about prizes for the 2025 Calgary Brain Bee will be announced shortly.

Registration is required to participate.
