Welcome to the Local Brain Bee page for Newfoundland and Labrador
The provincial Brain Bee competition (Brain Storm) for 2025 will be held on Saturday, March 29th
The Brain Storm Competition is a Q&A competition that tests high school students’ knowledge of the brain and nervous system. Students are quizzed about the brain and how it is relates to intelligence, memory, emotions, sensations, movement, stress, aging, sleep and brain disorders.
Registration for the provincial Brainstorm competition can be completed here:
The deadline for registration is Friday, March 21st
The national Brain Bee competition will be held on April 25th, 2025.

All of the questions for the local Brain Storm competition will come from these two sources:

Prizes
The top 3 scorers at the local competition will receive monetary prizes of $150, $100, and $50. The top scorer will also be invited to take part in the national competition.
